De Puta Madre Verdejo 2004
- Tasting Notes:
This wine is amazing; from oxidative sherry like aromas, the wine blossoms on the palate! Picked as a late harvest wine and fermented with wild yeast for 2 years in French oak. This wine has a sweet smooth and rich oily palate and a touch of spice. Partner with jambon and you will have a taste sensation. A unique style, provocative and polarising. Wine has been produced in the Rueda region commercially since the 11th century and the region is located just southwest of the well-regarded Ribera del Duero vignoble. This region has suffered until the recent times when it has found favour again amongst wine lovers again.
