Marques de Riscal Grand Reserva 2001

  • Tasting Notes: Complex and balsamic, with burnt wood and hints of spices such as black pepper and cinnamon.

    It has an smooth mouth-feel, with good backbone and concentration of tannins, round and supple with a long, silky finish.
85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% otras

Once the blend has been determined for this special type of wine, it is put into oak casks and aged for 32 months, followed by a further 3 years’ rounding off in the bottle.
