Pesquera Reserva 1996

• Tasting Notes:
  
  Dark red core, lighter at rim. Forward nose of cherries, red berries, minerals, minimal hints of oak. Medium-full bodied, cherry/berry fruit carries to palate with some earthy complexity, balance is a bit on the acidic, "food wine" side at first, but it evens out after an hour or so and is even better the next day with some additional complexity. Fully integrated mellow tannins with medium-long finish. Drinking well now, should easily last another 5 years. Excellent-outstanding.
