Aldo Conterno Bussiador Chardonnay 2005

  Honey gold colour. Pretty aromas of vanilla, hazelnut butter, lanolin, tropical fruit, almond extract/marzipan, cream. Full-bodied with a gorgeous, lush, unctuous, almost oily texture. The 14.5% alcohol initially shows a little too much on the attack but with a bit of air it integrates nicely. Replays from the nose right through to the long, 45-50s finish. Really quite gorgeous!
