  Sourced from vineyards averaging seventy years of age, mainly located in elevated sub regions of the Barossa. These are low yielding and hand tended.
  
  It has an appealing and intriguing aromatic spectrum that includes fresh red fruits –red cherry, raspberry and plum skin; and savory secondary characters - fresh earth, roasted nuts, cigar, leather and dried herbs. Displays a lovely subtlety and complexity.
  
  Fresh and lively palate. Flavors progress from plumskin, red currant and wood smoke to hazelnuts, dried herb and mineral notes along your palate. This transition of flavors from pure primary fruits on attack through to savoury secondary fruit on the finish in conjunction with fresh acids and tannins with a clear drying edge make this a classic wine for the table.
